Based on the connection with electronic locks, we can offer your guests a contactless and convenient check-in. After completing the required steps, such as completing the Online Check-in, the guest can enter the hotel premises or enter the room directly from the Bookolo application without the need to visit the reception. To open, the guest simply places the Bookolo application against the room door without the need to use a standard key or card or visit the reception desk.

What are the conditions for contactless check-in for the guest?

To open the locks on the room through the app, an online check-in is required for all guests at the reservation. The next step is to download the Bookolo app to which the guest uploads their reservation using a QR code or login and on the day of arrival, activate the key to the room in the app using the PIN code sent to their email.

Can I share my room key with other guests in the Bookolo app?

All information about the process for using contactless check-in is primarily communicated to the booking email. As part of the information, the process for sharing the key to the travel companion directly from the app is also explained. The condition for using the mobile key is to download the Bookolo app.

Is it possible to limit the use of the mobile key to the number of guests in the room?

Bookolo app also offers this option. The key is activated in the app using PIN codes and if the number of activations exceeds the number of guests, it will not be possible for the next person to activate the key and use it to open the locks.

What are the conditions for using a contactless solution for a hotel?

The basis is the use of electronic locks from partners with whom we are interconnected at Bookolo - we will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information personally. An important part of this is also the use of the Online Check-in module and last but not least the PMS partner, who also has these options ready for implementation.

Is the Bookolo app free of charge?

Yes - Bookolo app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play free of charge. Among other things, we also encourage your guests to download the app after making a booking and in the automatic and upselling emails that you can set up in the Bookolo administration.

What features does the Bookolo app offer?

The Bookolo app can be used without registration and login. Guests can easily enter their reservation into the app using the reservation number and code or QR code. The app then provides a detailed overview of the booking and the accommodation with the option to manage the booking, perform Online Check-in and contact the hotel. Registering and logging in to the app offers additional benefits such as an overview of all active, past and created bookings at different hotels.
